Tax Senior Manager – Borouge Pte. Ltd. (Singapore)
Borouge Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our team in Singapore. This is a full-time leadership role (Job ID: R86721) reporting directly to the Head, Group Tax, with responsibility for managing all tax matters across Asia South and Asia North. The position offers a unique opportunity to influence tax strategy, ensure compliance, and provide advisory support for international growth projects.
As a Tax Senior Manager, you will lead direct and indirect tax compliance, transfer pricing, customs, tax planning, tax controversy, and dispute resolution. You will also provide strategic tax insights on mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, funding models, and intercompany transactions. A strong understanding of SAP systems and the ability to leverage automation tools for tax reporting will be highly valued in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee regional corporate tax and customs strategies, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations.

Manage negotiations with authorities for tax incentives, customs exemptions, and rulings to optimize business costs.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional tax certification preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of tax experience in both a top international consulting firm and in-house leadership roles within multinational corporations.

Prior experience in the petrochemical industry is advantageous.

Strong background in tax planning, compliance, and controversy management at a regional level.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
